Andrew W. Mellon Postgraduate Fellowship in Furniture and Woodwork Conservation

The Philadelphia Museum of Art is looking to fill a two-year Andrew W. Mellon Postgraduate Fellowship in Furniture and Woodwork Conservation, beginning September 1, 2018 and ending August 31, 2020. Working as part of the Furniture and Woodwork team, the Fellowship will include technical examination, treatment, research, and preservation activities on European, American, and Asian furniture and architectural woodwork in the Museum's collections. The position includes benefits and travel stipend for research.

The Philadelphia Museum of Art is looking to fill a two year Andrew W. Mellon Postgraduate Fellowship in Paper Conservation, beginning September 1, 2018 and ending August 31, 2020. Working with the two staff paper conservators in the state-of-the art laboratory, the Fellowship will focus on conservation of European and American art on paper and include Indian paintings, East Asian scrolls and screens, as well as photographs. Horace W. Goldsmith Curatorial Fellow

The Philadelphia Museum of Art seeks candidates for a three-year fellowship in photography in the Department of Prints, Drawings, and Photographs. Funded by the Horace W. Goldsmith Foundation, this fellow will work primarily with the Museum's distinguished permanent collection of photographs and will participate in all aspects of curatorial work in the PDP department. Specialists in the History of Photography are invited to apply. This position is a three-year fellowship that will begin May 2018.

Suzanne Andrée Curatorial Fellowship

The Philadelphia Museum of Art announces a two-year (first year renewable) Curatorial Fellowship in Prints, Drawings, and Photographs beginning on July 2, 2018. The fellowship provides firsthand experience with curatorial work in the graphic arts. Fellows participate in all activities of a large, active curatorial department with a collection of more than 160,000 works of art on paper, located in state-of-the art facilities. Fellows will have the opportunity to organize an exhibition from the permanent collection during the second year of the fellowship. Position includes travel stipend and benefits.
